The Association Française d’Arbitrage (AFA) is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors has just elected Marc Henry as its new Chairman. Marc Henry holds a Doctorate in Law from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and is the author of an award-winning thesis published on the arbitrator’s duty of independence. He is a lawyer in Paris and was admitted to the Bar in 1988. He specializes in business litigation and arbitration, and continues to be involved in research and teaching. His election reflects the generational transition that his predecessor, Mr. Bertrand Moreau, worked on accelerating during his term of office.
