The Institute of Expertise, Arbitration and Mediation, IEAM, will organize a 6-days training on mediation in CERFRANCE offices, 18rue de l’ Armorique, 15th Paris, on 10 and 11 September, 20 and 21 November and 11 ans 12 December 2014. This training which combines theory and practice, will be provided by Mrs Sylvie ADIJES, mediation specialist lawyer and Mr Gilles DUVERGER-NEDELLEC mediator and professor on mediation at HEC. On Friday, June 27th, 2014, in Paris, the Centre de Médiation et d’arbitrage près la Chambre de Commerce Franco Arabe organizes a one-day symposium on ”Ethics in arbitration“. Mr Bertrand MOREAU, President of the Arbitration Committee of A.F.A ., will present it the Ethical Arbitration Charter of Fédération des Centres d’arbitrage.  Download program and registration form.

June 26th, 2014 from 6 pm to 8 pm, to the Law courts of Paris, will take place the presentation and discussion of the CFA working Group’s report on “Arbitrating banking and finance disputes“. The A.F.A. which has set the mission of advance the arbitration in the world was consulted by Brunel University of London to support the study and spread in France the survey on the law arbitration in European Union and in Switzerland  requested by the European Parliament. This study will contribute to guide the Parliament in its future decisions with respect to arbitration. We invite you to answer the survey which addresses the arbitration practitioners.
